Fine art illustration of a Green and Black Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates auratus.) The illustration is available in black and white or color. Artist’s notes: This is another ‘re-do’ of the dart frog variety. Both the line art version and the digital tinting were completed in 2008. I traveled to Costa Rica to see these wonderful frogs in the wild, and Dendrobates auratus was the first I encountered, almost immediately arriving in the Osa Peninsula. Seeing these frogs is one of my favorite memories from the trip. The image is based on a photo by Andreas Graemiger.
