Mindful Matcha - Better Tea Co.

Categories: ,
Emma Freeman I love that this matcha is made from Gyokuro leaves- each one shaded for 20 days, which gives it that beautiful green colour. It comes in a sweet little jar with a metal lid that’s both reusable and recyclable, which I appreciate! There’s a lot to admire behind the scenes here. The matcha is grown using organic practices on a single farm in Japan, where fair wages and traditional methods are prioritised. I like knowing they’ve formed a direct relationship with the grower. Their commitment to mental health is commendable- donating a portion of profits and creating space for open conversation- is especially meaningful. It’s rare to see a brand connecting product, people and purpose in such an intentional way.Iasmim Nery The packaging is just stunning- the glass jar is not only elegant, but it also keeps the matcha fresh and makes it more sustainable. I also appreciated that they are Fair Trade, pay living wages, support their team’s wellbeing and care for mental health.Fiona Noonan You can really taste the subtle sweetness of this matcha! I love knowing that it is grown organically and with care being shaded for 20 days! This one made a perfect latte and was quite gentle on my system which is lovely when done are quite astringent! I am especially impressed by their social responsibility commitment! How wonderful to have such a support for mental health donating profits to mental health and supporting fundraisers and I am a big fan in using tea as a ritual and for self care.
