DescriptionWonderful pair of Chinese cloisonne elephants, each one sits on it’s rear end with trunk high in the air, decorated all over with beautiful cloisonne motifs, these pieces are actually containers! The heads come off to reveal little domed lids, these also come off to reveal containers! Each elephant sits on a stand. Beautiful and charming! Early 20th century. Size of each: 13 3/4″ high (12 1/2″ high without stand) x 5″ wide x 6″ deep.
