Each of the six sides has a large white panel with paintings of various scenes from nature, including: a pair of sparrows and a pair of cranes sitting upon tree branches, a wild horse and deer trotting along a riverbed, a flute playing figure in red and yellow clothing riding upon the back of an ox, a pair of cicadas buzzing about a bunch of berries, and and an aerial view of a wide river flowing into the ocean whilst a sailboat floats in the far distance.
