DescriptionChinese antique bronze jue, a wine vessel for drinking fermented millet beverages in rituals to ancestors. The libation cup is supported by three tapered legs. The wide mouth rim is has two finials on either side and an animal-headed handle on one side. The body of the cup is encircled with three raised bands of archaic leiwen motif. The underside of the cup has a raised, rectangular cartouche with and inscription stating the vessel is from the 3rd year of the Qianlong reign.Dimensions: 6 1/4″ high x 6 5/8″ long x 3 1/8″ wide
