Chinese Antique Mauve Monochrome Porcelain Water Coupe with Monkey

DescriptionAntique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it’s handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.Dimensions: 6″ long x 3″ wide x 2″ high
