Description There are 3 options available for powering the Combi D6E: Diesel Mode, Electric Mode & Mixed Mode (Diesel Electric for maximum power). When operating in mixed mode, electricity is prioritised to conserve fuel if the extra power is not required. The 4 air outlets give you plenty of options to run hot air ducting to suit your installation and the integrated 10L stainless steel tank can operate on water heating only ‘Summer’ mode, heating from 15°C to 60°C in as little as 20 minutes. A universal fitting kit is supplied for connecting to the vehicle’s diesel tank and includes a fuel metering pump, pipework and fittings. The sophisticated fuel control system features an automatic filling/priming function and accurately controls the metering of fuel for optimum efficiency. A frost control drain valve is included with the kit that automatically opens and drains the water from the heater if the ambient temperature becomes too low (approx. 3°C), preventing freezing water damaging the unit. The frost control valve also acts as an over pressure relief valve for the water heater and provides a manual drain function. In colder conditions, the unit can be run in hot air only mode until the ambient temperature inside the vehicle is high enough (approx. 7°C) to use the water heater. The Combi D6E is supplied with Truma’s iNet X smart control panel with a 4.3″ colour touch screen. This next generation panel has a sophisticated user interface coupled with intuitive navigation and step-by-step trouble shooting.
