Designed to be completed in 8 weeks, learners also receive up to 2 additional support weeks if extra time is needed for revision, assessments or portfolio completion. With full tutor guidance throughout, this fast-track programme offers a professional route into cosmetic practice while allowing learners to study around existing commitments. This qualification underpins all advanced treatments and is a requirement for progression to Level 4. Candidates must successfully complete this course before progressing to the Level 4 courses. Level 4 Award in Skin Peeling This unit focuses on advanced chemical exfoliation techniques to improve skin texture, tone, and clarity. You will learn: Principles of chemical skin peeling Types of superficial peels (AHAs, BHAs, PHAs) Skin analysis and treatment planning Safe application and timing Neutralisation and removal (where required) Managing skin response and aftercare Level 4 Award in Microneedling This unit focuses on collagen induction therapy using microneedling to improve skin quality and target common concerns. Yes, upon successful completion of all units, you will be fully accredited and able to obtain insurance to offer skin peels and microneedling treatments professionally (subject to insurer requirements). How is the Level 3 completed? The Level 3 Principles in Cosmetic Practice is completed via a written portfolio and theory exam, which can be done from home. What if I can’t find a model? Models are usually provided. Students may also work on each other where appropriate. Can I film the course? Yes, you may record demonstrations for personal learning purposes only. What if I change my mind or want to change courses? All courses are non-refundable. A credit may be offered to transfer to another course, subject to terms and availability.
