DescriptionChinese antique Famille Rose porcelain vase. Baluster form decorated with large dragon and phoenix. The five-clawed dragon is painted in orange with detailed scales while the phoenix is painted with multi-colored over-glaze enamel and also has intricately detailed feathers. They float on a white glaze ground with a golden jewel and multi-colored lingzhi shaped clouds. The shoulders of the vase are circled by a band of vibrant yellow edged in gold with colorful scrolling vines and flowers. The neck of the vase is decorated with intricate auspicious symbols floating on a white glaze ground. The rim of the vase has an under-glazed blue key-fret motif. There is a six character Guangxu mark on the bottom in red enamel and a sticker from the P.H. Heilbron Collection.
